1. Who We Are

ResellMind ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile and web application that helps resellers manage their inventory, sales, and finances. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

Account data: email address used to create your account.
Business data: inventory items, sales records, purchase history, costs, listings, and proof-of-purchase images you enter into the app.
Subscription data: subscription status and expiry, managed by RevenueCat.
Usage data: basic app diagnostics via Firebase (crash reports, performance). No advertising identifiers are used.

We do not collect your location, contacts, or any data unrelated to the service.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and maintain the app and sync your data across devices.
To manage your subscription and process payments via RevenueCat.
To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset) via Firebase Auth.
To improve reliability and performance through anonymised diagnostics.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the processors listed below.

4. Third-Party Services (Data Processors)

Google Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Storage) — stores your account and business data securely. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

All processors are GDPR-compliant and operate under Data Processing Agreements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase data centres. Access is protected by Firebase Security Rules — only you can read or write your own data. We use HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete Account), which permanently removes all your data from our systems.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to:

Access — request a copy of your personal data.
Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
Erasure — delete your account and all data (available directly in the app).
Portability — export your data (available via Settings).
Object — object to processing where we rely on legitimate interests.

8. Children's Privacy

ResellMind is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you via email or in-app notice if changes are material. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
